Times are still tough for many of us.  Despite the improving economic situation the pennies have to be counted and spending planned out carefully.

Splashing out on treats often means £5 on a manicure rather than £50 on a handbag.  But that's great because so many retailers understand the need to help us.  

Of course there are many new opportunities that may boost economic growth such as fracking although there is a small element of controversy.

Shops help by dropping prices, often for only a day or two.  So when you are thinking about buying a new microwave oven  it's likely you'll be able to find some on sale.  And it's always nice to save a few £££s after all.
